Sliding Gates

Sliding gates are a popular choice for fences at the front of a residential property where the access point is usually particularly wide. They are often a cheaper alternative to large swing gates that would need heavy duty framing to account for the weight and eliminate sag. They are also better suited to sloping ground as it eliminates unwanted gaps underneath the gate that could present a risk, especially if trying to keep pets within your boundary. If your ground slopes up towards your house this blocks a swing gate from being able to fully open in, if on a verge, you might not have the option to open out due to council regulation. Sliding gates are also cheaper to automate and for peace of mind we only install Italian designed motors from leading brands. Speak to us about automating your gate and the accessories we have available such as wireless touchpads, fobs, photocells, battery backups, racks and more.

Swing Gates

If you’re not on a verge, or space is not an issue, a single or double swing gate is both safer and cheaper to install. Team Work Fencing will measure the space you have available and build a gate to suit. We also have an extensive range of hardware from simple d-latches to pin entry marine grade locks depending on your budget and needs. It is also possible to automate your swing gates with electromechanical kits and like sliding gates, we have a range of accessories to fit your needs.
